AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) – Another Mainer died as a result of COVID-19.
The additional death reported on Sunday is that of a man in his 60s in Hancock County.
Maine’s death toll reaches 359.
The Maine CDC is reporting 350 new cases on Sunday.
Overall, there are 25,592 cases. 21,693 are confirmed.
On Sunday morning, 190 people are hospitalized, 47 are in intensive care and 20 are on a ventilator.
According to the Maine CDC, recovery numbers are not up to date, so we can no longer accurately report active cases. Instead, we are providing new case counts for each county.
York County saw almost 100 new cases overnight. They are reporting 98 new cases on Sunday.
Cumberland County is reporting 57 new cases, while Penobscot County is reporting 50.
