Magic: Legends allows longtime fans of Magic: The Gathering to explore the Multiverse like never before. After selecting one of the initial five Planeswalker classes, players will travel to different regions made famous by the famous card game, including Innistrad, Tazeem, Benalia and more. While exploring these planes, players will collect Artifacts, Equipment and mana-based spells, which will be used to help them build a powerful and random attack deck.

Main features

  • A new ‘magical’ story – The ancestral forces move in the darkness, and it is up to the players to gather the necessary power to fight this evil. Magic: Legends features notable characters from the iconic franchise in multiple stories, culminating in conflict with a powerful villain from the Multiverse.
  • Become a PlaneswalkerMagic: Legends allows players to use the power of mana through five different starting classes and switch between those classes quickly – with additional classes available later.
  • Walk Your Own Path – Planeswalkers will need to cross several plans to save the Magic Multiverse, but how they plan their path depends on them.
  • Control the chaos – Players will make quick tactical decisions on the battlefield in real time, while strategically building a spell deck from the spell library, which will be drawn randomly during combat. Whether they exercise the power of white, blue, black, red or green mana – their choices determine how they navigate the battlefield.
  • Collect and updateMagic: Legends offers a multitude of spells and spell pages that can be collected to make each spell more powerful. Players will purchase and use Equipment and Artifacts to synchronize with their decks in order to create their desired playing styles.
  • Fight together – The planes in Magic: Legends can be walked alone or with up to two other Planeswalkers. Players can prepare exclusive loadouts to build the strength of their teammates or test their courage in PvP 1v1 duels.

Open Beta for Magic: Legends features five unique Planeswalker initial classes, with additional classes available later:

  • The Geomancer uses the power of Earth to strike nearby enemies with devastating rock and lava attacks. They are able to absorb blows that would otherwise incapacitate other Planeswalkers with their stone shield. Geomancers prefer to summon creatures like goblins, kavu and earth elementals.
  • The Mind Mage personifies the cold intellect. Like a Planeswalker that focuses on psychic powers, they can fight enemies from a safe distance, controlling projectiles with telekinetic powers and stop dangerous enemies with spells that put them to sleep or turn them against their allies.
  • The summoner of beasts it is the embodiment of primordial power and savagery. They can defeat hordes of enemies on the battlefield with crushing blows from a huge spiritual ax while coordinating attacks with a fellow Aether Fox and other summoned beasts.
  • The sanctifier he is equally adept at wounding enemies with blazing rays of light, as well as repairing the wounds of fallen comrades. This class can summon angels, paladins and those dedicated to order for protection in battle while destroying enemies with fair light.
  • The Necromancer uses deadly rituals to devastate enemies and create hordes of the undead for their own purposes. This class uses its unique connection to death to uproot the lives of the living and to undermine the strength of enemies with terrible curses.

In addition, players will explore five diverse regions in four planes, taken directly from the Magic: The Gathering card sets:

  • Shiv – A volcanic island in the Dominaria plan – inhabited by Ghitu tribes, goblins, ogres and dragons.
  • Benalia – A city-church-state on the Dominaria plane, where rolling plains meet dark marshes. The Benalish people are at war with Kabbalah fanatics and their demons.
  • Tazeem – The jungle continent on the Zendikar plane, with mystical Hedron stones, huge trees and lush rivers – inhabited by newts, elves and a host of wild creatures.
  • Tolaria – A tropical academy on the Dominaria plane – full of aspiring wizards, Homarid beasts and artifact constructs.
  • Gavony – A province in the Innistrad plan, where settlements and city dwellers are constantly under attack from werewolves and the undead.

Players will also harness the power of their Spark to build and progress on their own personal fragment of the Realm of Meditation – an ever-changing plan of mysterious origin and countless secrets that serves an unknown master.
