Madonna accused of doing photoshopping on a woman’s body

Madonna is being accused of expressing herself with the body of a young woman in her early twenties. Literally.

A TikTok video went viral in which a 28-year-old woman named Amelia M. Goldie claims that Madge put her face on Amelia’s body in 2015 to promote “Rebel Heart”. To this day, the photo can still be found on Madonna’s Instagram. It was posted on May 1, 2015. Madonna added the caption, “I look kewl.”

Page six tweeted side by side of the photos, and the evidence is quite compelling.

Amelia, who was 22 when she first shared the photo in question, told Buzzfeed that she “thought it was a joke” when she saw the photo of Madonna on the Joy Division T-shirt. Then, she saw her body on Material Girl’s social media.

“I tried to contact her team via Instagram twice, with no answer … [would] definitely laugh and say I’m flattered, but of course I would like to receive credit! “Amelia said.

On TikTok, Amelia posted a photo of Madonna next to hers, writing: “When Madonna posts a photo of you on IG to promote your album, but it’s actually your body. (I’m not kidding).”

Social media users, many who criticized Photoshop’s alleged work, began to bomb Madonna’s May 1, 2015 post with pleas to give Amelia credit.

Even so, Amelia finds humor in the controversy of the photos.

“I was told it’s a great ‘party flex’, which makes me laugh,” she told Buzzfeed. “I said that in a job interview and they loved it.”
