The freshman congressman made comments to CNN’s Pamela Brown when pressed about her remaining views on the results of the November elections.
“Yes, I think I would say that the election was not fraudulent. You know, the Constitution allowed us to step back as far as we could and I did that with the value of the constitutional limits I had at my disposal. So now I would say that Joseph R. Biden is our president, “he added.
There were no credible allegations of any voting issues that would have impacted the election, as stated by dozens of state and federal courts, governors, state election officials and the departments of Homeland Security and Justice. And none of the Republican rulers who opposed Biden’s victory opposed Trump’s victories, or in some cases his own victories, on the same day.
“So, when I challenged the election, it was within the constitutional guidelines that the creators established. But after I did that and the voters and delegates from each state elected Joe Biden as our president, I respect the position. He is my president and I want to work with him to ensure that we can bring about significant change for the American people, “said Cawthorn.
