Madden now has a Sponge Bob Square Pants-thematic field for you to live your dreams of playing football in a virtual Bikini Bottom. The SpongeBob Reef-Top, which will only be available in Madden’s arcade mode, The Yard, will offer challenges that you can complete to unlock Nickelodeon-themed content, as well as equipment inspired by the famous yellow sponge.
In the “next few weeks”, you can also unlock Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Mr. Krabs, Plankton and Squidward Tentacles themed equipment. (TIL that the canonical surname of Lula Molusco is Tentacles.)
