Mack Wilson apologizes to Patrick Mahomes’ mother on Twitter

After yesterday’s AFC Divisional playoff game between Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and former Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson exchanged words on Twitter after Wilson faced Mahomes, which led the 2019 MVP to be placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Wison apologized to Mahomes on social media and also defended his name after many fans claimed he was a dirty player. Mahomes responded, apparently dismissing the whole thing and accepting the apology.

Mahomes’ mother Randi also logged on to Twitter to call Wilson. Stating “evil never wins” and included Wilson’s shirt number.

The tweet appeared to be a direct call to Wilson’s success at Mahomes.

Wilson, who took every possible opportunity to make it clear that the coup was unintentional and that he is not a ‘dirty player’, responded directly.
