With filming expected this summer, Lupita Nyong’o is opening on Black Panther 2, and how they will move on without the late Chadwick Boseman.
The late great actor died unexpectedly last August at just 43 years of age, after a four-year battle with colon cancer that he never publicly revealed.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed in December that he would not reshape Boseman as the beloved T’challa, although the sequel is happening, with Nyong’o opening up about it in Wednesday’s episode of Good Morning America.

She was confirmed to return to the sequel alongside Winston Duke as M’baku, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Martin Freemand as Everett K. Ross.
Disney set a release date for Black Panther 2 on July 8, 2022, although that could change in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
