Fans were eating when she faced her ex-TV ally from the 90s after her response to the US Capitol insurrection, with Lawless calling Sorbo a “facilitator” – and that was the coolest thing she said.
Kevin sorbo and Lucy Lawless have been side by side several times as the stars of “Hercules: The Legendary Journey” and their spinoff “Xena: Warrior Princess”, respectively.
The incredibly popular action TV series of the 90s made both names known and stars – it took Wednesday’s insurrection in Washington to make them enemies.

Lawless was absolutely ruthless in responding to his former co-star and colleague after he started sharing unfounded conspiracy theories that the protesters were, in fact, from the extremist antifa group posing as Trump supporters.
The siege, which lasted several hours and resulted in five deaths, including a policeman on Thursday, was an attack on the American democratic system, and its perpetrators were proudly without a mask and sharing their faces around the world.
In general, those who have been identified so far are right-wing extremists. Many people believe that President Trump’s incendiary comments before the siege during a rally (not to mention his baseless allegations of electoral fraud for weeks) sparked the violence that followed.

He faced the vitriol of members of both parties – and has already resulted in the resignation of several people from the Trump White House, impeachment articles being drafted and calls for him to be removed through the 25th Amendment – there is zero tolerance now for the theories of groundless and dangerous conspiracies that so many Trump supporters have championed.
Perhaps that is why Lawless was so relentlessly effective in his overthrow of Sorbo by spreading unsubstantiated and unsupported allegations that it was “left agitators disguised as Trump supporters” that really infiltrated and desecrated the U.S. Capitol.
“They don’t seem patriotic to me,” he captions his part in the false claims.

No, peanuts. They are not patriots. They are your flying monkeys, homemade terrorists, QAnon actors. They are the assholes who go out and carry out the evil orders of people like you, who like to roll them up like toys and let them do their worst. #keepingYourFilthyHandsclean #Facilitator

“No, Peanut. They are not patriots,” Lawless replied, calling him a facilitator on his marks. “They are your flying monkeys, homegrown terrorists, QAnon actors. They are the assholes who go out and do the evil orders of people like you, who like to roll them up like toys and let them do the worst.”
Sorbo had already doubled the claims, tweeting that “ANTIFA led the attack on the Capitol dressed as a supporter of Trump.
There is absolutely no evidence to support this, although there is growing evidence that pro-Trump and far-right groups have been represented, according to Mashable.

One of the main sources of the antifa conspiracy theory was a conservative article in The Washington Times, which claimed that a little-known facial recognition company called XRVision identified two individuals involved in the rebellion as members of the alleged group.
The company has since denied that any images made by its software have been made public and the Times removed the article. But not before some members of Congress accepted the story too, sharing similar feelings for the Sorbo part.
Sorbo did not respond to Lawless’s downfall, but the fans were absolutely in love with the exchange, with one stating: “I always knew you would win that 1×1.” While others praised her, some started sharing clips from their Xena shows literally beating Hercules.

It is a well-known fact at this point that Xena has always been MUCH superior to Hercules, right?

When I found out that Hercules was a Trumpster, my childhood was destroyed.
When I saw Xena’s response, I said, no wonder her show lasted longer.
