Da House Beautiful

If you have no plans for spring break, you are not alone. In a recent survey by Lowe’s, 70% of people responded that they do not plan to take a leisure trip until the end of the summer. That said, the retailer wants to help consumers enliven the coming months of warm weather, helping them turn their homes into their final destination this spring.

In April, Lowe’s will host SpringFest, a new home and garden experience that will feature special events, discounts on our favorite products for warm weather, travel-inspired content and more. Throughout the month, customers will be able to learn new skills through online and in-store demos at select stores. Think: lawn maintenance with Scotts and paint demonstrations with Sherwin-Williams. All events will follow the guidelines for safety and social distance.

In addition, Lowe’s will also offer free Garden-to-Go kits every Thursday in April, starting on the 8th. To receive your courtesy kit, all you need to do is access Lowes.com from the 1st April to book one. You can pick it up the following Thursday, during a special event on the sidewalk. There will be a different Garden-to-Go kit every week.

Lowe’s shared some details about the four Garden-to-Go kits available in April. The kit that customers will receive on April 8 will be sponsored by Miracle-Gro and will include exclusive recipes from professional cook and food stylist Amanda Frederickson. The kit available on April 15 will include Lowe’s Mysterious Garden Piñata with packages of mysterious seeds. On April 22, the kit will include a tree sapling in honor of Earth Day. To end the month, the April 29 kit will include materials to help families create a butterfly garden.

It’s not a bad way to celebrate spring if you ask us. You can buy all of Lowe’s products for outdoor and spring-related activities here.
