Longtime NBA TV Reporter was 48 years old – deadline

Sekou Smith, who has covered professional basketball for more than 20, including the last decade on NBA TV, died today of Covid-19. He was 48 years old.

Sekou was a popular presence on NBA TV run by Turner Sports, serving as a television analyst and copywriter. It also features the podcast NBA Hang Time, which has been happening three times a week and has released the latest league news and stories to guests from around the NBA.
