Long lines and technical problems as Orange County opens access to the vaccine for people aged 65 and over

It is no secret that 2020 was devastating for many companies. In LA, the distribution of federal relief loans was extremely limited and extremely uneven. The city’s attempts to provide relief they weren’t much better.

Many businesses have been forced to defend themselves. Speaking to local businessmen, my colleague Emily Guerin I found that those who were able to rotate their operations or offering a new product were more likely to stay afloat; those who could not, or did not, faced a greater probability of closure.

For example, as many other local restaurants, the owners of Wanderlust Creamery in Santa Monica, she quickly placed orders online, sending mugs of ice cream across the country. Other open restaurants ghost kitchens. In fact, pandemic-related innovation will in and in and in.
