Lola Bunny walks with the Wonder Woman Amazons – / Movie

The day after a horde of Twitter users lost their heads completely talking about the perceived attractiveness of a cartoon rabbit from a children’s movie, the director of Space Jam: a new legacy revealed some new information about Lola Bunny, the female member of the basketball team Tune Squad in the original Space Jam and your next sequence. Looks like a filmmaker Malcolm D. Lee and his team put a lot of energy into desexualizing the character, but he also revealed that when the audience is reintroduced to Lola, she will be going out with the WB and DC’s Amazons Wonder Woman films. Yes really.

Entertainment Weekly, which yesterday debuted a cover story detailing the film’s bizarre plot, hid some details about the conversation with Lee who focused on Lola Bunny, including the fact that when the audience first saw her in this sequence, she will be doing some soul-searching with Wonder Woman Amazons, presumably at Themiscyra.

“We wanted to meet her with the Amazons, trying to find greener pastures for her,” said Lee. “As she says in the film, there is more to her than just being a tune.”

If you’re wondering what the hell is going on, you may have missed the fact that Space Jam: a new legacy going to be one Player One Readyin mishmash style that incorporates tons of different cinematic properties from Warner Bros. in an area called Warner 3000 “Server-verse”. The (disturbed) plot involves Lebron James and his son being sucked into that world by an artificial intelligence that wants to steal some followers of LeBron’s social media. The plot of the first Space Jam it was admittedly stupid, but frankly, it sounds totally inaccessible and essentially like an HBO Max supercar ad, where all of those properties can be transmitted at the click of a button.

In the meantime, apologies to all the 30 year old boys who are horny for Lola Bunny and consider this character a formative part of their sexual awakening, but Lola will not receive the same treatment after she was in the original film. “This is a children’s movie, why is she in a top crop?” Lee asked after seeing the first film for the first time, a few years ago. “This is 2021. It is important to reflect the authenticity of strong and capable female characters. It probably has the most humane characteristics of the Tunis; she has nothing like a carrot, nor a lisp or stutter. So, we reworked a lot of things, not just her appearance, like making sure she was an appropriate length in her shorts and was feminine without being objective, but it gave her a real voice. For us, it was, we will substantiate her athletic prowess, her leadership skills and make her a character as complete as the others. “

Space Jam: a new legacy, complete with its reworked version of Lola Bunny, will arrive on HBO Max and in theaters in July 16, 2021.
