Loki’s new trailer sends him on a sci-fi tour of the Marvel cinematic universe

The Marvel Universe is broken and it’s up to Loki to fix it, according to the latest trailer for his next series on Disney Plus. Marvel released the trailer for Loki on Monday, and it looks like the show will send Loki from one famous Marvel movie to another.

The trailer starts by reminding us where Loki is and how he got there. At the Avengers: Endgame, Loki took the Tesseract and was almost immediately arrested by the extremely idiotic Temporary Variance Authority (TVA).

According to TVA official Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), when Loki took the Tesseract, he accidentally broke time, and now he has to fix it. And at the end of the day, setting time means traveling back through the famous MCU moments in what appears to be a sci-fi and reality assault series.

Just during this trailer, Loki visits a version of New York’s alternate universe, where the Avengers Tower, along with the rest of the city, was decimated. He also appears somewhere that looks a little bit like Sakaar’s Thor: Ragnarok, and maybe even Pompeii? He even seems to be visiting the Black Widow – somewhere that looks a lot like Vormir. And that only cites about half of the references with which the trailer is filled.

Loki is scheduled to launch on Disney Plus on June 11th.
