Logitech’s new gaming-focused headphones work well with USB-C devices

The latest headphones from Logitech, a $ 50 model called the G333, are common in terms of design, with a flat cable that houses an in-line remote and a microphone, replaceable silicone ear tips and the ability to connect to devices via a 3.5 mm connector. What sets them apart is the included 3.5mm to USB-C adapter.

If your phone or other audio device does not have a headphone jack, but it does have a spare USB-C port, you are ready to connect this model. With the adapter plugged in, I had no problem connecting the G333 to my Pixel 3 3.5mm less, my Nintendo Switch or via a USB-C port on the MacBook Pro I use for work. Also included with these headphones are two additional sizes of silicone tips and a small mesh case.

The G333 looks almost identical to Logitech’s other two gaming headsets: the $ 50 G333 VR headsets (which are certified for the Oculus Quest 2) and the $ 50 Astro A03 headsets. added here is the USB-C adapter, which is included for the same price. So if you’re trying to decide between them, the new G333 is the most feature packed for the price.

The G333 headphones appear to have the same dual dynamic drivers as the models mentioned above, and their overall performance was similar in my tests. If you’re not expecting much (considering the price), I think you’ll be impressed by the sound quality. There is a lot of bass, but it doesn’t confuse the sound. My biggest problem with them is that the silicone ear tips don’t always want to stay in my ears.

The new headphones from Logitech will be available in three colors: black with blue accents, dark purple with neon yellow accents and, lastly, silver with light purple accents.
