As promised, Justin Bieber released not only a new single, but a video clip in which the singer prepares to fight, a fitting tribute to everyone who had his butt kicked in 2020. Bieber released the track and the video that accompanied it in the middle – January 1st night, after his debut during his T-Mobile presents New Years Eve live with Justin Bieber on Thursday night. “Oh yes, I will be presenting my new single #ANYONE during #BieberNYE, tomorrow night” he tweeted Wednesday.
The video, directed by Colin Tilley, shows the singer driving Rocky crazy to Zoey Deutch’s Adrian, running on the beach, drinking raw eggs, falling in love and, of course, beating his opponent. “I can’t think of a better way to close 2020 and start 2021 than to celebrate with my fans around the world and share this new song with them,” said Bieber in a press release posted by Billboard. “Music has helped us a lot this year and, for me personally, it has been healing and transformative.” Check out the music video for “Anyone” below.
