BTS’s Jimin has a Christmas gift for fans!
On December 24, Jimin shared a new song entitled “Christmas Love”, which was produced by Slow Rabbit, Jimin and RM.
Jimin also posted on the BTS blog to explain the meaning behind the song. Read his translated post below:
ARMY, hello. This is Jimin.
Did you get my Christmas present?
I wanted you all to hear this song and I am very, very happy that it was possible.
I’m here today to tell you a little bit about why I’m sharing such a brilliant song during such difficult times. As you can see from the lyrics, this song contains the emotions I felt in one of my favorite childhood memories, which was when I saw the snow falling for the first time.I think as we grow up, we really miss our childhood.
Regardless of whether or not we are in this type of situation, I think we remember our pure and innocent self from the past and we want to go back to those days.
The responsibility that comes with growth, that responsibility makes our innocent self grow, and I think that makes us hide our emotions a little.
But I believe that we still have these emotions within us.
So, even if it sounds childish, why don’t we express those emotions?
I think it would be good if today were the day that this happened.All of you are always worthy of receiving love.
So instead of saying the commonly used phrase “shrink”, even if it is a little embarrassing, I hope that the time will come when we can enjoy our time together.
The music is a little deficient compared to this great post I wrote, but I created the song hoping everyone will be happy.
