Line of 1,000 cars in Fort Worth for Houston’s famous Turkey Leg Hut Food Truck – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

*Update: The Houston restaurant was scheduled to start serving its world famous turkey legs and Cajun bowls at 11 am Friday morning in Fort Worth; The lines of cars started to form around 9 am and, around 11 am, organizers said 1,000 cars were in the queue.

Turkey Leg Hut, a Houston company that has gained many followers since its inception more than five years ago, is arriving in Dallas-Fort Worth.

A food truck will be parked at The Potter’s House in Fort Worth from 11 am to midnight on March 19, 20 and 21. Customers can buy stuffed turkey legs and Cajun bowls. (Note, Potter’s House has many campuses. This event is at Fort Worth church.)

A spokeswoman said it is the first time that Turkey Leg Hut has served food to the public in Dallas-Fort Worth.

“People always ask when we are coming to this area on social media,” said Turkey Leg Hut co-founder Nakia Price. “We are happy to finally be able to share a taste of our exclusive menu with the Dallas-Fort Worth community and are very grateful to The Potter’s House for welcoming us over the weekend.”
