Lindsey Vonn and PK Subban announce separation after three years

Lindsey Vonn and PK Subban are splitting up.

The Olympic skier and New Jersey star Devils announced in separate posts on Instagram that they are splitting up after three years together. The couple became engaged in August 2019.

“For the past 3 years, PK and I have had incredible moments together.” Vonn wrote. “He’s a nice, kind man, and someone I respect a lot.

“However, after much consideration, we decided to proceed separately. We will always be friends and we will love each other immensely. We ask that you respect our privacy during this period. “

Vonn, the 36-year-old Tiger Woods ex, had re-introduced to Subban last Christmas – four months after the NHL star asked the question – because, she said, “men should also have engagement rings.”

The couple went on vacation in the Bahamas in October to celebrate Vonn’s birthday.

“Lindsey is one of the most kind and caring people I know,” wrote Subban, 31, in his Instagram post. “I will always value our time as a couple and the many laughs we share.

“After much consideration, we decided to go ahead separately. We will always be friends and we will love each other immensely. We ask that you respect our privacy during this period. “

Vonn has three Olympic medals, including a 2010 downhill gold. Subban, who won the NHL Norris Trophy in the 2012-13 season as the league’s best defender, was traded by the Predators to the Devils ahead of the 2019-20 season.
