Great technology is in the spotlight like never before – and a company that deserves a front row seat is Instagram … so it says Lindsey Pelas, which accuses them of discriminating against women.
We talked to the mega social media influencer, model and actress – who makes a lot of her life online today – and she told us that IG seems to want it so much for women … but it’s easier for men, especially as it respect for their bodies, and what they are allowed to post.
Waiting for your permission to upload Instagram media.
Take a look … Lindsey explains that all of this has to do with censorship – another important issue lately – and says that IG policies are unfair to women in terms of the amount of skin they can show on the platform, while Insta is supposedly much more tolerant of men stripping everything. Lindsey likens this to digital choice … which she says usually ends with guys being able to run wild.
There is another level here too … erections and vaginas. Listen to Lindsey – she says there is a disparity as to which products are allowed and which are not in the IG.
Anyway, going back to her main point, which is this – the power that these big tech companies have at their fingertips was put on full display this week with Robinhood’s drama. Funny, LP says that the saga is not much different from what is happening in the camera app.
Basically, she thinks someone has to control them forever – including perhaps Congress … because these companies can literally make or break someone’s bank as they please.
