Senator Lindsey Graham, RS.C., is expected to win his run for re-election, according to NBC News. He defended his South Carolina Senate seat against Democrat Jaime Harrison in a brutal fight.
Harrison apparently appeared out of nowhere to face the former president of South Carolina. He ran a campaign that focused, in part, on Graham’s loyalty to President Donald Trump.
Harrison became one of the most successful candidates for the Senate in the fundraising game. He raised $ 57 million in the third quarter, overtaking Graham.

These fundraising victories led to a spate of foreign money for the race, including millions spent by a super PAC aligned with Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. Much research has shown that the dispute was tied or closed until election day.
Graham never faced an opponent who raised as much money as Harrison.
The South Carolina lawmaker competed with a platform that included allegations that Harrison, a leader within the Democratic National Committee, has links to the more progressive side of the party.
For Democrats, Graham’s victory could be a blow to a chance of becoming the majority in the U.S. Senate.

The Cook Political Report marked the dispute as a dispute. NBC News projected on Tuesday that John Hickenlooper defeated Senator Cory Gardner, R-Colo.
Democrats can still win Senate victories in Maine, Montana, Iowa, Arizona or North Carolina. These were labeled as toss-up or “lean democrat” on election day.
