Lindsay Arnold is applauding after being criticized for taking a vacation during the coronavirus pandemic.
Instagram users called Dancing with the stars professional for going to a tropical location with her husband Sam Cusick and her 2 month old daughter, Sage Jill Cusick, this week. The couple welcomed their first baby in November.
One person commented on her January 5 “Vacation” photo on the beach and noted that others around the world cannot see their families due to the COVID-19 blockade. The user hit the dancer for being “on vacation with her baby !!! Come on!”
Another replied, “It is so sad to see influencers flying and going on vacation without worrying about the virus.”
Arnold, 26, addressed the issue in his Instagram story on Wednesday, January 6, sharing a smiley selfie with the thumbs up.
She wrote, “This is my thanks to everyone who really thinks it’s okay to comment or criticize someone else’s parenting. Why? Why do we do this to others? Especially people we don’t even know.”

Arnold went on to admit that she is “VERY far from perfect”, adding: “Believe me, you don’t need to remind me of that, but why don’t we use our energy and words to encourage instead of always looking for what it is by finding things to criticize. I’m very tired. “
She said that haters should stop following her and let her interact only with her “kind” followers.
The day before, the new mother posted a picture of her and her husband on the beach at sunset, while reflecting on her fatherhood journey with her “best friend”.
She wrote on Instagram: “I really think it’s the key to a happy and successful marriage … after all, your spouse must be your best friend. I am so grateful for our friendship over the past two months with a newlywed born.”
