Wanuri Kahiu will direct the feature film by Bryan Unkeless and Eric Newman’s Screen Arcade.

Lili Reinhart set up her next feature film project with Netflix.

Reinhart to star in a double-timeline drama More less with Wanuri Kahiu, who was behind the popular Kenyan novel Rafiki, defined as direct.

Reinhart will star as Natalie, whose life, on the eve of her college graduation, diverges in two parallel realities: one in which she becomes pregnant and must navigate maternity as a young adult in her hometown in Texas, the other in which she moves to Los Angeles to pursue his career. On both journeys over the course of her twenties, Natalie experiences transformative love, devastating heartbreak and rediscovers herself.

April Prosser is behind the script. Screen Arcade’s Bryan Unkeless and Eric Newman will produce, having recently launched a sci-fi feature Project Power with the streamer. Jessica Malanaphy, from CatchLight Studios, will also produce, with Alyssa Rodrigues from Screen Arcade and Reinhart as executive producers.

Reinhart, represented by UTA, Anonymous Content and Peikoff Mahan, first appeared as Betty Cooper on the popular CW series Riverdale. His first major studio film was Hustlers, where she starred with Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu, and continued with a leading role in the Amazon novel Chemical Hearts, that she was also an executive producer.

Prosser, represented by Kaplan Perrone and Ziffren Brittenham, is behind the Black List scripts The one that got away and Another which are now set up on Amazon, where she is writing The Art of French Kissing.

Kahiu is represented by CAA, Gotham Group and Sloane Offer.
