Lil Durk’s ‘Kanye Krazy’ Music Video: Watch

Lil Durk relives the most notable highlights of the career of fellow Chicago rapper Kanye West in his video clip “Kanye Krazy”, released Friday (January 29).

The nostalgic clip, directed by Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade, resembles’ Ye’s old music videos, including “Runaway”, with the band of ballerinas swarming the white piano; “I Love It”, with giants that resemble Roblox suits; “Bound 2”, with the panoramic motorcycle tour; “Stronger”, with white curtains; “Heartless”, with the animated city and cartoon Dropout Bear; and “Famosa”, with the huge white bed filled by a half-naked group.

Nor does Durk set aside any of West’s earlier controversies. He mimics how the rapper went crazy against the radio personality Sway Calloway in 2013 and then takes the microphone from a Taylor Swift doppelgänger, spits out his verse and shrugs before passing the microphone back to her – reminiscent of the stage crash of the 2009 VMA that started the drama Swift vs. West.
