1) Earlier this afternoon I posted a story on offensive striker Olentangy Lewis Center (Ohio) Toby Wilson who had announced on Twitter, that he had committed himself to Ohio as a preferred middleman. Wilson is the son of Ohio’s offensive coordinator and tight end trainer Kevin wilson. Toby played tackle and guard in his second season, tackle and focus on his junior season, and focus on a 6-3 Olentangy team as a senior. He was recruited by the Buckeyes as a center. Toby had scholarship offers from Toledo, Air Force, Army, Akron, Cornell, Navy, Furman and a few others.
“It depended on the state of Ohio, the Air Force or the Army,” said Toby. “I have participated in good programs with my father. I think the state of Ohio is the best. I want to get into training and I can learn from coaches like Coach (Ryan) Day, Coach (Greg) Studrawa, Coach Mickey (Marotti) and my dad. I want to be a college head coach someday ”.
Toby talked about his father’s part in his decision.
“He provided me with resources and people to talk to,” said Toby. “He supervised things and gave me information. He said that you can come to Ohio and win and be the best and that’s what I want to do, win and be the best. “
Toby weighs up to 1.80 m and 90 kilos. He has an idea of when he can go on the field for the Buckeyes.
“I think it is for me to have the chance to play in my first and last year,” said Toby.
