A security camera recorded the terrible moment when a lightning bolt killed a man and wounded three others who were hiding under a tree in India during a storm.
The tragic strike occurred on March 12 at the Signature Villas apartment complex in Gurgaon, a city in northern India’s Haryana state, where the four men were part of the horticulture team, NDTV reported.
The images show them crouched by the tree at the moment the lightning strikes. Three of them collapse immediately, while the fourth, which is leaning against the tree, falls a second later.
One of the men was hospitalized with severe burns. The other two are out of danger, according to the media.
