LeToya Luckett is preparing to take a page out of her former Destiny’s Child group book and become a single woman. After months of speculation about the state of their marriage to businessman Tommicus Walker, the two announced that they are divorcing. This is in the midst of a scandal involving Walker.
Tommicus Walker reportedly was filmed with another woman
In the fall of 2020, a video was leaked to the audience of a man allegedly Walker in a hotel room in Dallas with another woman.
The video showed a man who resembles Walker sleeping. Another video shows the man after an alleged sexual indiscretion. Many believe that Walker is the man in the video, as he has the same tattoo on his leg, the name Ruby, Walker’s late mother.

At the time, Luckett was pregnant with Walker’s third child. She gave birth to her son Tysun weeks later.
Walker and Luckett’s marital problems arose on the reality show VH1 TI and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. The singer and actress accused Walker of being spiteful and harsh, as well as contemptuous in times of conflict. Walker left town amid arguments with Luckett and did not contact his family for days.
By Walker, Luckett can be sarcastic and a little grouchy. He also accuses Luckett of not being as warm and welcoming to his daughter as he would like her to be.
Letoya Luckett and Tommicus Walker announce separation
Luckett hasn’t posted any photos with Walker in the past few months. She was also not portrayed with her wedding ring.
Walker hinted at a breakup, posting cryptic messages on his Instagram account about the difficulties of the wedding and asking fans for prayers.
On January 11, Luckett and Walker confirmed that they are getting divorced on their respective Instagram accounts.
“After much thought, Tommicus and I decided to get a divorce,” began Luckett’s post. “It is my deepest wish that we are loving co-parents and maintain a peaceful environment out of respect for our children.” Luckett captioned the photo, “Love always” with a broken heart emoji.
Walker’s post shared similar feelings, with him writing: “LeToya and I decided to get a divorce. This was a very difficult decision. We remain committed to our family as co-parents … fortunately we remain committed as caring friends with great love and respect for each other. “
Both asked for privacy when dealing with this matter. They also shared a series of photos with each other in their divorce announcements.
In a message for his Instagram story, Walker claims he never wanted a divorce. He insists that he never betrayed and blames “outside forces” for ending his marriage.
This is Luckett’s second marriage. She was previously married to motivational speaker Rob Hillman in 2016. The marriage lasted just two months before being annulled. Hillman and Luckett reportedly signed a confidentiality agreement forbidding them to publicly criticize each other – or to reveal any details of their relationship.
