Leonardo DiCaprio’s Malibu home “was full of memories of the Titanic”

Leonardo DiCaprio’s beach house in Malibu used to be filled with memorabilia from his movie that made stars, Titanic.

Flipping Out star Megan Weaver used to work for the 46-year-old Oscar winner and her mother Irmelin Indenbirken once let her and her boyfriend stay at their residence on the Beach of Carbon Billionaires for a weekend.

“And we went in and you went into this beach house and everything was Titanic – Titanic towels, Titanic poster, Titanic, you know, everywhere,” said the interior designer on the David Yontef Behind The Velvet Rope podcast on Monday.

‘And then he looked at me and said,’ Is this Leo’s place? ‘Yes. This is Leo’s house. So that was it, it was incredible. I don’t think this is something he would do now, but at that time, and again, that was [the] nineties …

“I think the film wasn’t even that old. And then, yes. Nor was it his main home. It was, you know, and he hardly went there. So I think they, it was probably his mother who did it, but it was a dead revelation. ‘

Megan added: ‘I remember it was the best bed I have ever slept on in my life. I had to like it, look at the mattress and see what kind of mattress it was. No, everything was in very good taste, but they existed as dead gifts with the towels and robes of the Titanic and Leo’s poster and yes. So it was really fun. ‘
