Heidi Klum’s daughter was candid on Instagram about her fight against acne. Leni Klum, 16, shared an unfiltered photo of her skin up close, revealing an active rash along with some redness on her cheek.
“My skin on a bad day”, she captioned the photo, adding the hashtags, “#nomakeup #nofilter #sowhat”.
In addition to the photo in her feed, she started sharing a video of her naked face on Instagram Stories. In the short clip, the teenager moved her head from left to right to show fans the rashes she currently had on her face, writing “bad skin. this must pass as well. “
In the comments, fans applauded the teenager for showing her untouched skin and for being real about the common skin struggle experienced by many.
“I really like that she is so openly generous about it,” wrote an Instagram user. “I wish everyone was like her. Excellent Leni model! ”

Leni recently appeared on the cover of the January / February issue of Vogue Germany alongside her famous mother on her first big hit in the fashion world. The mother and daughter pair wore pantsuits in bold colors as they posed for the cover with Klum giving a kiss on their daughter’s cheek.
“So excited for my first cover !!” she wrote on Instagram. “I had so much fun on the set with @voguegermany that I couldn’t even dream of getting better !! Thanks for being by my side @ heidiklum❤ ”
Leni told Vogue that it was only a matter of time before she followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a model. “The first offer came when I was just 12 or 13 years old, from a brand I liked to use: Brandy Melville,” she said. “At that time I begged my mother, but without a chance. Now I understand that it would have been too soon.”
The 47-year-old model and mother of four has kept her children practically out of the spotlight over the years, but has given Leni her blessing to make her model debut.
“Sixteen is a good age,” she explained. “If you’re allowed to drive a car, you can also have an official Instagram account and show your face. And being able to start with a ‘Vogue’ cover is an insane privilege. “
