Legendary Edition launches in March • Eurogamer.net

I hope this has no plans for Wrex.

Some online retailers have already listed the next Mass Effect: Legendary Edition to launch on March 12, 2021.

EA has yet to officially announce a date for its remastered Mass Effect trilogy package in addition to a vague spring window, but, save for further delays, Eurogamer understands that the above date is correct.

Singapore retailer Shopitree and Indonesian outlet GSShop released Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on March 12, as seen by a Twitter user Idle sloth.

We have yet to see how much remastering the Legendary Edition will be, but we hope that the announcement of the imminent release date means that we will see the gameplay soon.

In November, BioWare announced the Legendary Edition with the word that it would feature updated “textures, shaders, models, effects and technical features”, as well as all single player DLCs and remastered promotional packages for 4K Ultra HD.

“Our goal was not to remake or reimagine the original games, but to modernize the experience so that fans and new players could experience the original work in its best possible form,” said BioWare chief Casey Hudson at the time.

BioWare also has a new Mass Effect project in the early stages of development, and a trailer shown during the December Game Awards revealed what appeared to be a return to the original Milky Trilogy scenario. Probably.
