You may remember in January, when Lebron James released a video of him checking out the GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. Now, you can see it from another perspective because GMC now has a clip that shows him checking out the same pearl-colored example of the next one electric pickup.
James seems very impressed with the new Hummer. He calls him “beast” and describes him as “so futuristic, but at the same time bold”. James can even drive the truck, but only until he leaves the garage and enters the garage, as this is a pre-production vehicle.

As a GMC brand ambassador, it is safe to expect James to be among the first people in the country to purchase the Hummer EV Edition 1. In the video, he promises that people will see him driving at his home in Ohio and Los Angeles.
Issue 1 has a starting price of $ 112,595, and all reservations for them have already been eliminated. They come exclusively with this white exterior and a Lunar Horizon interior. These vehicles have all the features available, such as the Super Cruise, the Infinity Roof with removable panels, adaptive air suspension and lower armor.
With three electric motors, the Hummer EV packs an estimated power of 1,000 horsepower (746 kilowatts) and 800 foot-pounds (1,085 Newton-meters). The range is predicted to be over 350 miles, and the run at 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) can be as low as three seconds.
If you want a Hummer EV and don’t have a Edition 1 reservation, you’ll need to wait until autumn 2022 to buy the truck. The EV3X model will have most of the same features, such as three electric motors, adaptive suspension and CrabWalk. The two-engine EV2X arrives in the spring of 2023 and the base model EV2 finally enters the line in the spring of 2024.
