Today, Samsung’s latest Chromebook is on sale at Galaxy Chromebook 2, but based on some new leaks, Samsung is planning to launch two new Windows laptops with built-in S-Pens.
Based on a new Sammobile report, the new Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 will be available in 13 and 15 inch sizes, with the latest model still featuring optional 5G connectivity.
The Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 were first seen about a month ago, after receiving BT 5.1 certification from SIG Bluetooth. Similar to last year Galaxy Chromebook, the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 are expected to feature vibrant OLED screens with possible 90 Hz refresh rates – components that would definitely help separate Samsung’s new Windows laptops from the typical productivity rate.
And according to a goal adopted by Samsung’s mobile chief TM Roh in a blog post late last year, Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro are likely to come with stylus support via an integrated S-Pen, meaning users should get a drawing and annotation experience similar to what is available at Galaxy Note phone.
In recent years, Samsung has made a concerted effort to expand its laptop and PC offerings, with laptops like last year Galaxy Book Flex a good return to form, and now it looks like Samsung is looking to continue that momentum with a new line of Windows laptops.

Unfortunately, there is not much information on pricing or release date. But since Samsung has already signed up and received a number of important certifications, an official launch may not be that far away. And considering its “Pro” brand, with Samsung launching the Galaxy Book Flex 2 5G by the end of 2020, these upcoming Galaxy laptops could end up being even more premium systems designed to occupy the top of the Samsung notebook line.
