A new Warzone leak reveals when we will be leaving Verdansk and going to the new map.
If you live under a rock, you may not have heard that Warzone will receive a new map soon. And from what we’re hearing, it will put an end to our adventures in Verdansk forever.
Now, it looks like we have a date for when Verdansk will see some changes. A new map of the war zone is on the way, and Battle Royale fans will be able to enjoy it in Season 2, if new statements are correct.
New leaks are emerging that seem to signal the end of the iconic war zone map. And this is not the first time that we heard about Verdansk being removed in the second season of Warzone.
When will the new Warzone map be released?
It looks like Warzone’s new map will arrive soon, after a year in which Verdansk was the only place to tap into the full potential of Battle Royale.
Of course, we had Rebirth Island in Warzone with the introduction of Black Ops Cold War, but it fell short of the community’s expectations. Now, an official full-scale war zone map is finally underway.
But it looks like we’re going to say goodbye to Verdansk to make room for the new arena. This may well be due to Warzone’s insane file size – adding another map may be too much for the limited hard drive space of next generation consoles
A few days ago, big leak ModernWarzone tweeted the date ‘March 11th’. Those who played Warzone when it was released should know that players were able to enter Verdansk on March 10, 2020.
The launch date of the new map was further triggered by fellow leaker WarzoneNewz. This account promises the “End” of Verdansk, launched on 11 March.
The account says that this is not a confirmed date, but it is a likely day for the ‘End’ event to fall.
What is the Warzone ‘End’ event?
But what exactly is the End event for Warzone, and what will it be like?
So far, we know that there is a large shipment of Nova 6 en route to Verdansk in the War Zone. And rumors suggest that we may be seeing a storm causing that ship to fall and destroy a section of the map.
This is where Warzone’s new mechanical leaks are likely to come into play. And Warzone bunkers may even open their second doors very soon, as part of the event.
But many people believe that the end of Verdansk will come in the hands of a nuclear warhead, with the map being destroyed without repair. From there, we may be playing on a devastated map of Verdansk or probably moving to a new location.
We know that there is a good chance that the new war zone map will be defined in the Black Ops Cold War squad areas.
This new content will certainly make Dr. Disrespect happy, as the streamer wants Warzone to “evolve” in Season 2.
