League of Legends Mobile: new screenshots and gameplay

League of Legends: Wild Rift, Riot’s long-awaited mobile version of its popular MOBA, is finally arriving in North America in March. During a new preview hosted by Apple, IGN learned that although there is no parity between Wild Rift and the PC version, Riot intends to have “70 or more” champions at the start. The Apple-focused event spent a lot of time discussing some of the benefits of League of Legends: Wild Rift on the iPhone 12s, including smooth performance and network connectivity thanks to 5G. But, in the end, it was a chance to get a good look at the Wild Rift before its North American debut next month.

As expected, League of Legends: Wild Rift is a mobile version of MOBA for the PC. Riot says it is completely built from the ground up for mobile devices instead of a door, and because of the updated models and maps, Wild Rift is actually the “high fidelity League of Legends experience” on any device, including the PC.Although there is no parity with the PC version, Riot says there will be more than 70 champions in the Wild Rift compared to more than 150 on the PC.

But Riot is giving Wild Rift a big boost, calling it a version of League of Legends that can fit better into people’s lives. Whether they want to follow intense competitive modes or play a casual game during downtime. Riot estimates that the games last an average of about 17 minutes, which is possible in some trips.

Riot makes it clear that this is not the League of Legends “Lite” and that newbies and veterans will find the same League of Legends experience with Wild Rift as on the PC. Riot is even planning competitions based exclusively on the mobile version.

And for seasoned League of Legends players, Wild Rift will make up for your dedication to the series when you enter the mobile version. Wild Rift will reward veteran players with adequate “compensation” as soon as they connect their Riot account, although the developers have not yet clarified what these rewards may involve.
