Las Vegas Raiders agree to the terms of wide receiver John Brown

The Las Vegas Raiders found their replacement for Nelson Agholor.

According to longtime NFL reporter Adam Caplan, the Raiders reached an agreement with the former Buffalo Bills recipient at less than $ 4 million for one season.

Unless Raiders try to sign a large receiver, like Kenny Golladay or JuJu Smith-Schuster, this is their primary receiver. They were also linked to AJ Green and Marvin Jones. With so many other needs, this may be the only free agent addition in the position.

I expected Brown to play a role similar to that of Agholor in Las Vegas. Let’s see if he can be as reliable as Agholor was in 2020, which had 48 receptions and eight touchdowns for the Raiders before profiting from a big deal with the New England Patriots this week.

Brown has been more productive than Agholor in his career, so there is hope.

Brown, who can stretch the field, had 33 footprints in nine games last season. He had 72 receptions in 2019 and fit into a highly productive passing game. It should fit well and still allow sophomore players Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards to become great producers,

If Brown can stay healthy, this is a decent addition at a reasonable price.
