Larry King’s wife, Shawn King, is speaking out after the death of the TV talk show icon.

The broadcast legend died over the weekend at the age of 87, leaving behind three living children – Larry Jr., Chance and Cannon – as well as his wife, Shawn King.

Shawn and King were first married in 1997, which effectively made their marriage the longest of their eight.

King’s family put him to rest at a private funeral this week, Shawn told Entertainment Tonight.

“We put you to rest this morning. And in the Jewish faith, they do it very quickly, so you hardly have time for me to sue,” she said in the middle in an interview that aired on Wednesday. “I’m still processing.”

She is not the only one “still suing”, however, as she said, “the whole family” including “the boys” is still reeling. King and Shawn shared sons Chance, 21, and Cannon, 20. King also has a son, Larry Jr., 59, with ex-wife Annette Kaye.

However, Shawn and the clan were able to find a sweet way to honor their late patriarch.

“All of us, we were just family, we used Larry’s suspenders, each of us,” she revealed. “And it was beautiful, loving … just perfect, just perfect. It was a family. There was no showbiz, no, nothing like that.”

“Death is perhaps the great equalizer, I think,” she shared. “You know, when you experience this with people we really love, all the other noise and nonsense that may be around, it just goes away and the family gets closer. And it happened. You know, it was beautiful.”
