Larry King moved from the ICU after hospitalization for COVID-19

Longtime broadcaster Larry King was pulled from an ICU in Los Angeles on Monday, while continuing to receive hospital care for COVID-19, according to NBC News.

A source close to King’s family told the news agency that King has been in a Los Angeles hospital for about 10 days and added that King believes he contracted the illness from a health professional who visited his home. One of his adult children also tested positive for the disease.

King, 87, suffered a stroke and heart attack last year and lost two children to medical problems in the same year. The first news of his hospitalization for the virus was on Saturday.

“Larry has struggled with so many health problems in recent years and is struggling a lot with this one too, he is a champion,” someone close to the family told ABC News at the time.

A prolific host who has hosted Larry King Live on CNN for 25 years, King currently hosts the talk show series Larry King Now on Ora TV, RT America and Hulu.
