Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald seems to have a remote chance of playing today’s unmissable game against Rams.

The Cardinals are not optimistic that Fitzgerald can play with his groin injury, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Fitzgerald may surprise the team and resist, but the Cardinals are not counting on him.

With Christian Kirk out after being placed on the league’s COVID-19 reserve list, the Cardinals lost two of their first three recipients today.

The Cardinals running back, Chase Edmonds, also an important part of the passing game, is questionable due to a hip injury. If Edmonds and Fitzgerald are out, Kyler Murray will lose three of his first four receivers. DeAndre Hopkins was expected to receive many passes in this scenario.

The Cardinals are in the playoffs if they beat the Rams today. They are out of the playoffs if they lose.
