Lara Trump made her comments on Fox News’ Hannity, after host Sean Hannity asked if she would run for the seat.
After Hannity noted that Lara Trump’s name is often mentioned as a possible candidate for 2022, he said the state’s top Republican leaders were struggling to support his possible candidacy. “Is it something that you would leave open for now, without asking questions, would you just leave the idea open in your mind?” he asked.

Graham is one of the Republicans who supports the possible candidacy of Lara Trump. In a February 14 interview with Fox News, Graham said that if she runs, “I will certainly be after her because she represents the future of the Republican Party.”
