Landon Perry Grier Peed on Alaska Airlines flight: FBI

Alaska Airlines unrelated flight from San Francisco International Airport on April 24, 2019.

A man reportedly peed right in front of everyone during an airplane flight last Tuesday, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Landon Perry Grier was charged Wednesday with a charge of interference with flight crew members and flight attendants.

According to the facts, the problem started with the defendant not wearing a mask on an Alaska Airlines flight from Seattle, Washington to Denver, Colorado. The clerk asked about eight to ten times to put one on. He would have refused after apparently trying to sleep. He ignored her, “then he started pushing and pulling her hand away while she tried to touch her shoulder gently to get her attention.”

He made contact with his right forearm about three times, officials said.

“He subsequently hit her on the arm two to three times in an attempt to aggressively fire her,” officials said.

That’s when things got a little bit colorful. Nature calls! It happens to the best of us and we can do little to control when. That’s why they have toilets on the planes. You understand what we’re getting at. Grier reportedly didn’t use a bathroom. He went right there at the cabin, according to the witness story. Other passengers would have to get other seats. Grier’s actions reportedly moistened a poor woman’s paper bag.

From the complaint:

Flight attendant KF then observed passenger Grier
sitting in his seat with his penis out of his pants and she told him to put his penis back in his pants. He replied: “I have to pee”. Several of the passengers seated around the passenger Grier were then replaced and the captain was called in to notify him of what had happened.

His girlfriend also spoke to a passenger identified here by the initials JC. She said that passenger Grier first caught her eye when she slapped the flight attendant when she asked him to put on the mask. She later informed him that he got up, took off his penis and began to urinate, which was wetting a paper bag she was carrying with her.

Grier is guilty of delaying preparation for landing by about ten minutes. In addition, the disruption allegedly occurred while the pilot had to deal with a “maintenance problem”, while the plane was descending over mountains in “turbulent conditions”.

“The interruption caused the pilot’s crew to divert attention away from their preparation for emergency landing,” officials said.

From the complaint:

Before leaving Alaska, he drank a beer and then three to four beers and “a few shots” before boarding the plane in Seattle. He also took an over-the-counter pain reliever because he had pain in his body from work. He said he fell asleep on the plane and woke up to screams from flight attendants who told him he was urinating. He said he did not remember hitting the flight attendant and did not know if he was peeing.

His lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Law & Crime.
