Lana Del Rey shared her new song “Chemtrails Over the Country Club,” the title track on her next album. She also revealed the album’s release date; will be released on March 19. Check out the song below.
The new video comes a day after Del Rey shares the tracklist and album art. Along with the revelation of the art, she posted a comment recognizing the diversity of the people portrayed on the album cover (which also appear in her new music video). “These are my friends, this is my life,” she wrote. “We are all a beautiful mix of everything – some more than others, which is visible and celebrated in everything I do.” She wrote that “she has always been extremely inclusive, without even trying” and yelled at anyone who made “comments again about a WOC / POC problem” – apparently a reference to the social media outcry over a May 2020 Instagram post.
Chemtrails Over the Country Club follows Del Rey 2019 album Norman Fucked Rockwell! Previously, she shared the single “Let Me Love You Like a Woman” and sang in The Tonight Show, starring Jimmy Fallon.
