Not only did the Baltimore Ravens pass through the Tennessee Titans defense on Sunday to advance to the AFC Divisional Round, but they also ran straight into the locker room, regardless of formalities.
Lamar Jackson knelt on the final play of the game to run out of time and as soon as he stood up, he led his entire team into the locker room – jumping in the post-game handshakes.
RAVENS EDGE TITANS IN PLAYOFFS AFC WILD CARD
The contempt was clearly intentional, as the bad blood between the two teams has been building since the AFC divisional round game last year.
“I feel like it was just disrespect to see what happened before the game the last time we played with those guys, and they were on our logo and seeing them get into it with our [head] coach. This was simply disrespectful, because we treated all our opponents with respect, “said Jackson of the week 11 showdown, when several Titans players danced on the Ravens logo at M&T Bank Stadium.

“It was no reason to shake hands and things like that,” continued Jackson. “We will be the biggest guy, so we left the field. I feel like we were being the biggest guys. And my favorite race was to kneel. I didn’t really have a favorite race. [other] than kneeling at the end. “
But the Ravens would certainly return the favor before they left the field.
Cornerback Marcus Peters intercepted quarterback Ryan Tannehill with less than two minutes remaining. Seconds later, Peters and the rest of the Ravens defense went into midfield and stepped on the Titans logo to celebrate the move – in true Tennessee style, of course.

“I was just following my teammates. I had no idea what was going on,” Ravens’ defensive side, Calais Campbell, told the NFL Network. “I didn’t know it was happening until I got there. But at the end of the day, respect is earned. Respect is earned.”
Ravens secured their first playoff victory since 2014 and will play Buffalo Bills in the divisional round.
