Lady Gaga’s two French bulldogs, who were stolen by thieves who shot and injured her dogwalker, were recovered unscathed on Friday, Los Angeles police said.
A woman took the dogs to the LAPD Olympic Community Police Station, northwest of the city center, around 6 pm, said Capt. Jonathan Tippett, commander of the elite Theft and Homicide Division.
Lady Gaga’s representative and detectives went to the police station and confirmed that they were the dogs.
The singer is currently in Rome to make a film.
The woman who left the dogs appears “” uninvolved and unassociated “with Wednesday’s attack, Tippett said.
It was not immediately clear how she got the dogs.
Dog walker Ryan Fischer was shot once while walking three of the singer’s dogs in Hollywood. The video showed a white sedan parking and two men jumping. They fought with the dog walker before one pulled a gun and fired a single shot before fleeing with two of the dogs.
The dog walker can be heard in the video saying he was shot in the chest. Tippett said he must survive the injuries.
“I still love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You are a hero forever, “said Gaga in an Instagram post.
