Lady Gaga arrived in DC before her presentation in the 2021 presidential inauguration.
To mark the occasion, Gaga shared a dark photo of herself on Instagram, posing at the United States Capitol, wearing an all-white ensemble. His look included a white turtleneck, cream trousers and a custom Givenchy v-neck cape jacket. The elegant outer garment featured metal accents and pointed shoulders.
“I pray that tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans,” Gaga captioned the post on social media. “A day of love, not hate. A day of acceptance, not of fear. A day to dream about our future joy as a country. A non-violent dream, a dream that gives security to our souls. Love, from the Capitol. “
Gaga completed her look with a chain necklace, a satin face mask and her high-top platform boots from Giuseppe Zanotti in white (not pictured in the photo). The shoes have a drawstring closure and a steep stiletto heel. Personalized shoes are the singer’s preference as she presented a completely black pair in 2019.
Gaga announced on January 14 that she would sing the National Anthem at the historic inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris on Wednesday.

The 2021 presidential inauguration will take place at the US Capitol at noon ET. Along with Gaga, Garth Brooks and Jennifer Lopez will also perform. The opening coverage will begin at 9 am Eastern Time and will be broadcast on all major networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CNN, PBS, Telemundo, Univision and MSNBC. Viewers can also watch the ceremony via the official White House website, the live broadcast of the Biden Inaugural Committee on YouTube and on Facebook, Twitter and also on Amazon Prime Video.
After the inauguration, a special program entitled “Celebrating America” will honor American heroes at 8:30 pm Eastern Time. The program will be hosted by Tom Hanks and will feature speeches by Biden and Harris. Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, John Legend, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington are ready to appear.
