The Giants are due to meet wide receiver Kenny Golladay on Thursday and have prepared for this conversation by adding another piece to their offensive puzzle.

Kyle Rudolph’s agents announced that the veteran tight end had agreed to a contract with the NFC East team. They posted a deleted post on Instagram saying it was a two-year, $ 16 million deal, but the deal was confirmed.

Rudolph was released by the Vikings in a cap-cut move earlier this season. He was supposed to earn a base salary of $ 7.65 million, so anything close to the numbers the agency initially published would be a good result for Rudolph on the financial front.

The Giants also have Evan Engram under contract for the 2021 season, so there may be a series of two tight sets coming to their attack if that is the case by September.

UPDATE 15:48 ET: Several reports state that the value of the two-year deal is $ 14 million.
