Kwik Trip, Culver is recruiting JJ Watt back to Wisconsin

The Green Bay Packers may not need to court JJ Watt back to Wisconsin if the # 1 convenience store chain and the # 1 fast food franchise are going to do most of the work for them.

Kwik Trip and Culver’s, two Wisconsin-based companies, adopted Twitter to help convince Watt to return to his home state and sign with the Packers.

Kwik Trip looked at the 17 locations in and around the Green Bay area. Culver’s pointed out that the state of Wisconsin has 142 restaurants.

The Houston Texans launched Watt, a Pewaukee native who starred for Wisconsin Badgers. While with the Texans, Watt was eight times All-Pro and three times NFL Defense of the Year Player. The two sides parted on Friday.

Speculation about Watt’s return home to play for the Packers dominated the weekend.

The fit is almost perfect. Watt is dying to play in the Super Bowl, while the Packers have a need along the defensive front.

Watt will have many suitors. But could he really miss the chance to play for the Packers and live close to so many Kwik Trip and Culver locations? When courting Watt, Green Bay may have some aces up its sleeve.
