The book will address a series of events that took place during Trump’s presidency, but will focus primarily on the Abraham accords, a series of accords made between Israel and the nations of Sudan, Morocco, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates) .

Announced last August, the Abraham Accords were the first official peace agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel in decades. The deal it was brokered with Kushner’s help and later became an important achievement promoted by Trump and his allies.

The source told Reuters that Kushner is “Not looking to settle accounts, but to provide a historical context and help readers understand what it was like to work at Trump’s White House.”

Along with his work in the Middle East, Kushner will discuss the impeachment of Trump, the government’s efforts at the border, the death of George Floyd, the Russian investigation, the 2016 election and the coronavirus, among other things.

“It will be an interesting prospect for someone who had a broad portfolio, was present in many of the most tense and consequential moments, but kept a very low public profile, staying behind the scenes and ensuring limited access to the media,” the source told Reuters.
