Kodak Black’s ‘last day’ speeches, Trump Pardon

One of Donald Trump’s last acts as president, plus another bombshell “Gloria” to the chagrin of The ghost of Laura Branigan, was to issue some final presidential pardons. This included a full pardon for Lil Wayne and a commuted sentence for rapper Kodak Black, as both were serving time for carrying weapons. On January 23, three days after tweeting his thanks for the commuted sentence, Black released a new single, “Last Day In”, about being released from his original 46-month sentence. In the middle of the song, after talking about how the first things he wants when he gets out of prison are sushi and a little coochie, Black acknowledges the presidential pardon, saying, “Trump just released me, but my favorite president is in the money . ” It has to be Grant, right?
