On the last day of Donald Trump’s presidency, he granted pardons and commutations to a long list of people, Kodak Black among them. Although Kodak’s legal problems are far from over due to a pending sexual assault case, the Florida rapper was restored after his pardon. It seems that he is currently a free man pending trial, and he has already gained a new look and apparently a puppy too.

In photos that emerged online, fans have already noticed some obvious changes in Kodak’s aesthetics. Not only is he wearing a new hairstyle, but it also looks like he got a new tattoo on his forehead. He also lost weight behind bars, if the photos indicate. Black has not yet posted a photo of himself online after his release, although he has released a new song entitled “Last Day In”.

The photos that appeared appear to be from a trip he took to see jeweler Johnny Dang, who gave him new pieces.

Shortly after receiving Trump’s forgiveness, Kodak personally thanked the former president in a tweet.

“I want to thank the President for his commitment to reforming justice and reducing my sentence,” he wrote. “I also want to thank everyone for their support and love.”

While Trump’s pardon was a victory for the rapper, prosecutors indicated that they are seeking to “aggressively” pursue Kodak’s sexual assault case in South Carolina.
