Natalia Bryant, the eldest daughter of the late Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, and his widow Vanessa, is ready for the track.
IMG Models announced Monday that it is now representing the teenager, who turned 18 last month.
Natalia released a brief statement with the news: “I have always been interested in fashion since I was very young,” she said. “I have a love for the industry and since I remember I wanted to be a model. There is a lot to learn, but I feel that this is a great opportunity to learn and express myself creatively.”
His mother, who is also a former model, published the news. “I’m so happy for you! I love you, Nani,” she wrote.
Natalia is Gianna’s older sister – who died in January 2020 with the NBA star – and the youngest daughters of the Los Angeles star Laker, Bianka, 4, and Capri, who is 1.
Although she is just beginning her career, Natalia already has 2.3 million followers on Instagram. Her photos so far have been mostly photos of her family, including tributes to Kobe and Gianna. His mother said the senior year of high school is awaiting decisions on enrollment at a few different universities in the fall.
Last month, IMG got another high-profile client when the company announced that it had signed Ella Emhoff, the 21-year-old stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris and the daughter of the second gentleman Douglas Emhoff. This announcement came after Ella’s animated presentation at the presidential inauguration.
