Knicks, Mitchell Robinson, left with a broken right foot

Mitchell Robinson was playing his fourth game back with a broken hand on Saturday night. Now, the center of the Knicks is out of the predictable with another body part broken.

Robinson suffered a fractured right foot in the middle of the first quarter against the Bucks in Milwaukee after falling awkwardly and eventually limping off the floor. He will be reevaluated on Sunday back in New York, the team said.

Robinson, 22, had recently lost 15 games with a broken hand.

The Knicks were already without striker Julius Randle (injured right thigh). They still have Nerlens Noel and Taj Gibson as support centers.

Robinson’s injury occurred when the Knicks were preparing to make a big move for the newly bought center Andre Drummond, reported Marc Berman of the Post. It is possible that Robinson’s injury could change the Knicks’ plans.

The Lakers has emerged as a leader for Drummond, according to ESPN.
